Ed Chiu

Vice President of Engineering

Ed Chiu is a seasoned digital solution professional, with more than nine years of both hands-on and management experience. He is formerly a senior software engineer and manager with TriTech Software Systems in San Diego, where he researched, developed and maintained the 24x365 mission critical interface applications for VisiCAD™, a 9-1-1/9-9-9 computer-aided dispatch (CAD) enterprise solution that helps public safety authorities dispatch fire, emergency medical and police vehicles. Ed has also served as director of software development and executive director of technology at MassHysteria, Inc., a Top 20 tech firm in Southern California, where he managed multiple teams to handle R&D of the company’s products; established extensive hardware and networking infrastructures in Silicon Valley and Vienna, Va.; and managed an overseas team. Ed holds a degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, in computer science, among various other credentials. He is fluent in several languages.
